I’ve just started building a little tank game in Flash that I’d like to eventually make in XNA.  Right now, the goal is to create a classic arena battle verses several enemy tanks.  At the moment, I’ve got a controllable player tank with firing capability and a set of targets that are randomly placed on the screen.  The next step will be creating wall objects and possibly a map generator.

Controls:
left and right arrows rotate tank
up and down arrows move tank
shift and control rotate turret
space fires cannon
1 adds more targets

Tank Game v0.1

Avec Pixels

We couldn't get the butts to sign the release forms, so we had to blur them out.

This one looked more obscene than the first and was sent back right away.  The pixelation makes it look like we’re hiding filthy monkey junk.  Try again.

Sans Pants

Strangely enough, not the first time I've shaded monkey buttocks.

This work entitled, “This Man’s Struggle “or “Poker Chimps” was created as part of a series of illustration demonstrating observational biases.  This one was rejected due to, and I quote, “… the bulbousness and sheer magnitude of the primates hind-quarters are to the point of being obscene.”  Actually, they asked me to cover up the butt cheeks and resubmit.  What was the result?  Tune in for my next post.
