Strangely enough, not the first time I've shaded monkey buttocks.
This work entitled, “This Man’s Struggle “or “Poker Chimps” was created as part of a series of illustration demonstrating observational biases. This one was rejected due to, and I quote, “… the bulbousness and sheer magnitude of the primates hind-quarters are to the point of being obscene.” Actually, they asked me to cover up the butt cheeks and resubmit.
